When & Where
Danse of Life is an energy dance and hook pull. Often referred to as a trance dance and is inspired by the work of Fakir Musafar. This ritual is a reflection of various 2000-year-old body rituals from around the world and is not based on any one ritual of culture.
The Danse of Life was founded in Denver, Colorado in 2006 by a group of four people.
The ritual and piercing team is very experienced and trained on the piercing, ritual and care needed to provide a safe and excellent experience.

We have two events per year.
Spring Danse is held in March (usually the 2nd Sunday)
at Denver Dangerous Theater Denver, Colorado
Fall Danse is held in October (Usually the 1st Sunday)
at Voodoo Leatherworks Colorado Springs, Colorado

Get Involved

Get Involved
Join us to be pierced with hooks or bells for experiencing the energy and pulling alone or with another.
Don't want to be pierced? Then join us in holding space, sharing energy, dancing and drumming.
Drumming adds energy. Bring your own or use one that we bring to be shared. Beginner to experienced level drummers are all welcome!
Singing bowls, shakers, and other such instruments are also welcome.
